Makes me smile everytime I see it...

4-8yr Olds Describing Love.
Rebecca, age 8: When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.
Terri, age 4: Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.
Danny, age 7: Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.
Nikka, age 6: If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate.
Elaine, age 5: Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.
Chris, age 7: Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.
Mary Ann, age 4: Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.

So I have this tooth...

And my tooth is the worse, now the whole left side of my mouth hurts, idk if there's another tooth on the bottom that's jacked or if the evil one is just sending out rays of pain to be funny

I've never been more excited to see a dentist, ROOT CANAL ON MONDAY!

You just weren't welcome here!

Im Sore...but it'll be worth it

Just got back from the gym, and my legs hurt (though that might have more to do with the 60 deadlifts I did when I got back, whatever.) Today was the commencement of a challenge I have given myself to do at least 30 minutes of cardio everyday. So I woke up and through on the most unmatching gym attire that I could find (ehh who cares about all the hot guys who could potentially be lifting weights) and proceeded to take that walk to the gym. Upon arriving (tehe luckily I was alone) I surveyed the equipment and ended up deciding on my mortal enemy, the treadmill. So I plugged in my headphones and turned my "I Wanna Be your Lover" Pandora station all the way up. I did 30 minutes nonstop with a constant heart rate of at least 145 bpm.

Needless to say, home girl is proud of herself.
DAMN PROUD.

Most of the time I can't stand my sister...

But then there are moments like this where the vibe is great and we're just enjoying each others company. And in moments like this I think that our constant arguments aren't all that bad. It never lasts though, we'll be back to hating each other in just a few hours.

Suffocate- J. Holiday

Ok lemme go all Tony the Tiger on y'all real quick and say this was a Grrrrrrrrrr-eat Album. Yes its as old as mess but that doesn't keep it from being good music and still makes it worth listening to (Everybody knows they start actin a fool when This is How We Do It comes on and that's older than this by and easy decade.) If you weren't as fortunate as myself to have somehow come across and listened to the entire Back of My Lac' album you missed out. Slightly reminiscent of Ne-Yo, kinky like some Janet, with just a hint of Neo-soul, this album positively croons to your inner romantic and caters to those who grew up in the proverbial hood.
Suffocate is my favorite and everyone loved Bed
but here are some other tracks worth listening too:
Ghetto
Fatal
Fallin'
(my favorite after Suffocate, nothing like hearing a man put aside all pride and just ask his woman to come on home.)

(guess that right there told you I'm an Anthony Hamilton fan...he reeled me right in with Charlene, but that's a completely different post.)

So yeah if you hadn't before go back and give this one a chance.

Am I doomed because my fortune cookie didn't have a fortune?

While I'm not really superstitious nor do I believe that those fortunes really mean anything but have you ever heard of a fortune cookie without a fortune? This HAS to be a sign.

Sign Your Name- Terrence Trent D'arby

Discovered this amazing little tune whilst in high school and I haven't been able to leave it alone since. I love the video (and everything else featuring interracial relationships for that matter) and its just feel good music. Nothing harsh, nothing overly sexual (not that that isn't appropriate sometimes), just something to drown out your feelings and send you to lalaland, because maybe just for those 4 minutes and 50 seconds its you that he's singing to...

Mr. Right Fish

Someone once told me that there's someone out there for everyone. And time and time again I think I've found someone yet it soon proves that I am wrong. So then that same someone goes and tells me that there's plenty of fish in the sea. My question is...When do I get to stop fishing and just enjoy my fish, I'm tired of reeling them in and either they're too big or too small. When do I get to go all Goldielocks and find one that's just right. I want my Mr. Right Fish, like right now.
